Who is the data controller?

What is the purpose and what is the legal basis? SEAT CUPRA will process the personal data provided by you for the main purpose of managing your request in order to provide you more information about the Cupra Leon competition.

The consent you provided in the form to process your request serves as the legal basis for processing your personal data. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time without prejudice of the processing that SEAT Cupra has carry out before.

To which recipients will your data be disclosed? Your personal data may be disclosed to third parties if required in order to comply with a legal obligation.

Likewise, SEAT Cupra requires the support of service providers. These third parties may have access to your data, but they always be acting in name and on our behalf, following our instructions, and in no case will they process your data for their own purposes.

For how long will the data be stored? SEAT CUPRA will store the data provided for however long is necessary to fulfil the specified objectives for which the data was collected, unless the data subject exercises their right of withdrawal.

·       Restriction of processing: You may request that the processing of your data be restricted in the following cases:

·       Should the processing be considered unlawful, you may object to the elimination of your data and request that its use be restricted;

·       Should SEAT CUPRA not need to process your data but you require the data in order to exercise or defend a claim;

·       When the processing of your data has been contested in order to carry out a task in the public interest or to satisfy a legitimate interest, while verifying whether the legitimate grounds for processing prevail over your rights.

·       Portability: You may receive, in electronic format, the personal data you have provided to us as well as the data that has been obtained under your contractual relationship with SEAT CUPRA, and transfer that data to another entity.

You may exercise the aforementioned rights by means of a written request addressed to SEAT CUPRA, S.A., Racing Department, Autovía A-2, Km. 585, Martorell (Barcelona) or by sending an email tocustomers@cupraofficial.com, clearly indicating the right you wish to exercise. Exercising these rights is free of charge unless said action is determined to be excessive or unfounded.

In the event you believe that SEAT CUPRA has not processed your data in accordance with the applicable laws, you may submit a claim to the Spanish Data Protection Agency via the website www.aepd.es.
